JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —
Weather Headlines:
SUNDAY: Isolated to scattered storms are possible in the afternoon. Once again, don't cancel your outdoor plans, just keep an eye on the sky. It won't be a washout and not everyone will see rain, but any storms that do develop could pack a punch with frequent lightning, gusty winds and heavy rain. The air will feel similar to Saturday with humid and warm conditions in the upper 80s.
MONDAY: Afternoon showers are still possible with the sea breeze and temperatures will be in the upper 80s.
TUESDAY - THURSDAY: The heat and humidity will be increasing in a big way. Highs are expected to boost into the mid-90s by mid-week as a high-pressure ridge sets up and dominates the forecast with warm tropical air. Rain chances stay low.
FRIDAY - SATURDAY: A cold front will approach and bring back rain chances. Temperatures will likely drop from the 90s Friday to the 80s Saturday.
